They are sister brands. The bigger difference is usually the installer.
Leisure Pools and EvoPools are both Explore Industries brands, sold under Explore Industries USA, Inc. Compare the specific model, its warranty in writing, and the installer's written price and schedule. That last part is where quotes really differ.
One family, several brands
Explore Industries lists its family brands together: Leisure Pools, Aviva, Imagine, Nexus and Evo Pools, plus Integra pool covers. Both Leisure Pools and EvoPools name Explore Industries USA, Inc. as the company behind them. So this is not a contest between two unrelated factories. It is a choice between two lines from the same family, sold through different dealers.
We install EvoPools, and the automatic safety cover we fit is an Integra, from the same family again.
What we can tell you about EvoPools
EvoPools makes ten fiberglass shells. We feature four with published installed prices: the Maldives from $79,595, the Everest from $89,595, el Capitan from $95,595 and the Sacred from $119,595.
Every EvoPools shell we install carries a lifetime structural warranty, a lifetime structural osmosis warranty and a 10 year AquaGuard X gelcoat warranty, all issued by the manufacturer, not by us. The one condition to know about: the warranty excludes damage from emptying the pool below the skimmer without the manufacturer's written consent.
What we will not pretend to know
We install EvoPools, so we are not going to describe Leisure's current models, prices or warranty terms; anything we wrote would go out of date. Get a Leisure dealer's quote in writing and bring it to us before you sign. If it qualifies, we beat it, and our install dates come in writing with credits if we miss.
Where the real difference shows up
Two pools from the same family can arrive with very different quotes, because the installer sets the scope, the schedule and how much of the price you see up front. These are the things we put in writing, and the things worth asking any installer:
Is the installed price published? Ours is, on the cost page, down to what is excluded. When does it go in the ground? Within 30 days of signing, or we credit $250 a day. How long is the crew in your yard? 96 hours, or we credit $250 for every 24 hours over. Are permits included? Yes. Will they beat a written quote? We come in at least $500 or 1% under a qualifying one. Every condition is on the guarantees page.
Questions to ask either dealer
Which model and size, exactly, and its depth profile. The structural, osmosis and surface warranties, and who issues each one. The installed price, line by line, and what is excluded. The start date and install length, and what happens if either is missed. Who pulls the permit. With those five answers from each dealer in writing, the comparison mostly makes itself.
