The four pools we install in Worthington
The Maldives, from $79,595. Soft curves and a splash pad, and the lowest price we publish.
The Everest, from $89,595. Straight lines and an open lane, end to end.
el Capitan, from $95,595. A full width tanning ledge and dual stair entry.
The Sacred, from $119,595. A spa moulded into the shell, a side entry ledge and a full length lane.
Each price is the pool in the ground, plumbed, wired, backfilled, full of water and running, with permits and inspections included. Concrete, fence and landscaping are not in it, and anything you add is quoted as its own line. The full breakdown is on the cost page.
Same price in Worthington as anywhere else
We do not price by postcode. A Maldives in Worthington costs what a Maldives costs in Grove City. What moves your number is the pool, its size, how we get equipment into your yard and what turns out to be underground, and all of that is settled in writing before you sign.
What to sort out before you sign
Your HOA, if you have one. Plenty of neighbourhoods have a homeowners association with its own approval process. Get that approval before you sign with anyone. Every model's dimensions are published on its pool page, which is usually what the conversation starts with.
Access. Walk the route from the street to where the pool will go. Gate width, fences, slopes, trees and overhead lines decide how the dig happens, and they are the thing people most often underestimate.
The ground. Central Ohio clay holds water, and the water table rises after a wet spring. That is one of the reasons we like digging in the fall, when the ground is at its driest, and it is why rock, groundwater or old fill are handled by written change order with the price agreed before we touch it.
Permits, fence and placement in Worthington
We pull the pool permit with the City of Worthington Planning & Building Department and schedule the inspections. Worthington uses one blanket permit, so the zoning check and the building review happen together, and the city says review typically takes one to two weeks. The fees are in our price.
Where it can go. At least 10 feet from every property line, counting the decking and paving around the pool, and not in the required front yard. Equipment that puts out heat or noise, like a pump or heater, goes behind the house, or at the side behind an evergreen hedge.
The fence. At least 4 feet high, with a gate and a lock, and no taller than 6 feet. No fence can stand between the street and the building setback line, and the fence needs its own permit. We confirm the barrier details with the city during the permit review.
Old Worthington. If you live in the Architectural Review District, roughly the original 1803 village, the Architectural Review Board has to issue a Certificate of Appropriateness before the building permit. That means a public meeting first, so we plan the calendar around it.
